Why we use this information
We use the information to record interest in GIGJAM, understand the types of artists, venues and promoters interested in the service, and contact registrants about GIGJAM's launch and development.
Lawful basis and withdrawing consent
The current register-interest form asks for your consent to be contacted about GIGJAM's launch and development. You can withdraw that consent or ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing martin@gigjam.co.uk.
Service providers
The website and form are hosted through Netlify. Relevant information may also be processed by the business email provider when GIGJAM communicates with you. These services act as suppliers supporting the operation of the website and communications.
Some service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this applies, GIGJAM will use the safeguards made available for those transfers as appropriate.
How long we keep information
Register-interest records are kept only for as long as they remain relevant to the development and launch of GIGJAM. Records will be reviewed periodically, including at least annually, and stale information will be removed when it is no longer needed.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, or to object to certain uses. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
To make a request, email martin@gigjam.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you have concerns about how your personal information is handled.
3. Website security
The public GIGJAM website uses HTTPS/TLS. The site's HTTPS certificate is managed through Netlify. Personal information submitted through the form should only be entered through the secure https://gigjam.co.uk website.
4. Cookies and tracking
The current pre-launch site is not intended to use non-essential advertising or behavioural tracking. If analytics, advertising pixels or other non-essential tracking technologies are added later, this information will be updated and any required consent mechanism will be introduced before those technologies are used.
